He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Phillips and Vasile Phillips; his brothers, Charles, Eugene, Howard and Ray; and his son-in-law Edward Stevenson.
He is survived by: his wife Delores; and his children, Terry Phillips (Vicki), Tim Phillips (Katreice) and Sheri Stevenson. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
