He was predeceased by: his wife Morita Smiley. He is survived by: his daughter Kaye Bechtel (Steve); his brother Robert Smiley; his grandchildren, Jamie Ansley (James) and Jason Bechtel (Lori); and his great grandchildren, Hayley, Kailee, Madoline, Cloe, Svend and Daisy.
