She was predeceased by: her parents, A. R. Welch Jr. and Ardella Welch; her son Mark Ablard; her brother Robert Welch; her brother-in-law Rod Hastings; and her nephew Brent Hastings.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Ablard of Weeki Wachee, FL; her children, Michael Ablard of Jupiter, FL and Karen Ablard (Paul Rhodes) of Montara, California; her sisters, Shirley Hastings of Knoxville, Brenda (Mark Yazel) and Peggy (John Fenderson); her sister-in-law Rebecca Welch of Altus, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Riley Rhodes, Sydney Rhodes, Tanner Rhodes, Christopher Ablard, Jess Ablard and Kelly Ablard Volin; her nephew Travis Fenderson; and her nieces, Megan Janda (Justin), Monica Frieden (Vanndy), Amanda Grove (Levi), Michelle Coe (Bryan) and Katy Welch. She is also survived by seven great-nephews, four great-nieces.
