Masserio of Weeki Wachee, Florida, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Massirio and Dorothy Massirio (Zavarella). He is survived by: his wife Laraine Masserio (Whitmore); his children, Ed Woodward (Candy) of Berlin, CT, Laurie Fargione of Berlin, CT, Karleen Giarratana (Salvatore) of Farmington, CT, Dorene Masserio-Beach (John) of Berlin, CT, Larry Woodward of Waterbury, CT, John D. Masserio Jr. of New Britain, CT and Lisa Masserio of Brooksville, FL.; and his sisters, Carol Sarnowski (Richard) of Boca Raton, FL and June Hartunian (Ronald) of Port St. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
