He is survived by: his wife Olive J. Gazzola; his children, Robert (Sylvia Gazzola), George Jr. (Ruthann Gazzola) and Andrea; his son-in-law Paul Stephenson of Texas; his brother Ronald; and his sister-in-law Alice Gazzola of New York. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
