He was loved and cherished by many people including: his stepdaughter Julia Maiorino; his wife Alice Doherty; his children, Charles Doherty of Spring Hill, Michael Doherty of Los Angeles, California and Barbara Misener of Trinity, Florida; and his stepsons, Neil Maiorino of Homosassa and Michael Maiorino of Lake Worth, Florida. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren.
