He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Wells and Clara Wells; his wife Cheryl Wells of Webster, Florida; his children, Jason Wells of Florida, Preston Seay of Webster, Florida, Jody Mort of Bushnell and Jamie Norton (Doug) of Center Hill, Florida; and his siblings, Eddie Wells (Millie) of Webster, Florida, Mary Gibson of Webster, Geraldine Moss of Webster and Irene Hemingway of Florida. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
