He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Montgomery and Reba Montgomery; his siblings, Deborah Britton (Wayne), Terry Montgomery (Becky) and Christopher Montgomery (Renee); his wife Pat Montgomery; his daughters, Christina Keller (Gerry), Michelle McPeek (Scott), Jennifer Yorke (Dave) and Dana Foster (James); his grandchildren, Haven, Brandon, Aubrey, Austin, Matthew, Rachel, Madelynn and James; his pet Piper; his siblings-in-law, Carlo Torra (Beth) and Dawn Barton (Carl); and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Peabody (Matt), Alicia Riberdy, Terry Montgomery Jr. (Olivia), John Torra (Marissa), David Torra, Jayme Graham, Michael Torra, Hope Montgomery and Deliah Montgomery.

While no memorial service will be held, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Michael's memory to Veterans Affairs.
