It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Durgin of Webster, Florida, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Worry and John Bickford; her husband Richard Durgin of Veteran's Cemetery; and her siblings, Eleanor, Phyllis, Carrie Ellen, Sharon and Billy.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Durgin (Joycelyn) of Bradenton, Paula Durgin-McGinnis (Wayne Smith) of Westbrook and Michael Durgin (Denise) of Webster, FL.; her sisters, Effie Mae, Dianna, Becky (Michael), Jeannie and Cecelia (Michael); her sister-in-law Joyce Domenic; her brothers, Roland (Etta), Robert (Billy), Fred (Gloria), Charles (Sharon) and Steve; her brothers-in-law, Carl (Barbara), Melville (Joanie), Larry and Frank; and her children, Kristie Twombley-Durgin and Marlon Leavitt (Donna). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
