She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Carter and Corene Carter (Simmons); her siblings, Michael Carter, Kenneth Carter and Laura Faye Tiller; and her grandson Will Currid.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Goodson of Wausau, FL; her children, Chip Goodson (Debra) of Wausau, FL and Paula Currid (Bill) of DeFuniak Springs, FL; and her grandchildren, Jake Goodson (Michelle), Joel Goodson, Julie Steinbach (Andy) and Freddy Currid. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (1068 Main St, Chipley, FL 32428). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1817 Memorial Dr, Chipley, FL 32428).
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Christian Haven Church at 2612 Finch Circle, Chipley, FL 32428.
