He is survived by: his children, Blake Barfield (Kay) of Wausau, FL and Whitney Dillingham (Lee) of Southport, FL; his close friend Virginia Ranew of Sneads, FL; his brother Billy Wade Barfield of Gadsden, AL; and his grandchildren, Elliot Barfield and Tucker Barfield.
