He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Weed and Esther Weed; his wife Veda Kay Womack Weed; his daughter Kimberly Ann Weed; and his siblings, Delbert, Walter, Gerald Weed and Dorothy "Dot" Alderman.

He is survived by: his children, Bryan Weed of Venice and Karen Farwell of Zolfo Springs; and his sister Jonna Mae Starling (Ronald) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
