With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara A. Lee of Wauchula, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sara. Though Sara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Allen Purdom; her husband Albert Cecil Lee; her daughters, Janie Revell and Celia Hayman; and her brother Allen Bradford "Buddy" Purdom.
She is survived by: her mother Lena Purdom; her daughter Barbara Jernigan (James) of Wauchula, FL.; and her grandchildren, Jason Jernigan, Jared Revell, Jamie Futch, Amy Tubbs, Bryan Chestnutt and Pam Chestnutt. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
