She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard and Mattie Carter; and her husband Cecil W. Redding. She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Redding, Renee McClenithan (Ross) and Beckie Johnson (David); her siblings, Edith Carter Myers, Bobby Carter, Shirley Smith (Ray), Jeanette Carter Nord and Climmie Batts; and her grandchildren, Brenton McClenithan (Kimberly), Brek McClenithan (Lacey), Lacey Illes (Bruce), Caterina and Violet Johnson.
