He is survived by: his wife Dela Valdez of Wauchula; his sons, Ricardo Valdez Jr. "Rick" (Roxy) of Wauchula and Emilio Valdez of Zolfo Springs; his siblings, Santos Valdez Jr. (Lucy) of Wauchula, Joe Valdez of Arcadia, Carlos Valdez (Erma) of Arcadia, Jessie (Josie) of Winter Haven, Carmen Valdez of Wauchula, Tina Obregon (Florentino) of Wauchula, Maria Valdez Guerrero (Wally) of Wauchula, Anita Valdez of Wauchula, Angie Valdez of Winter Haven and Stella Valdez (Thomas) of Bowling Green; and his grandchildren, Eli, Ember, Ethan and Emmie.
