He was predeceased by: his parents, T. H. Jones and Mattie Lou Jones (Harrell); his wife Shirley Jones; and his siblings, Kenneth Jones, Betty Murray and Irma Nobles.
He is survived by: his son Andy Jones of Lake Wales, FL; and his stepchildren, William "Buddy" E. Moncrief, Jr. (Diane) of Arcadia, Tony O. Bishop of Wauchula, FL and Sandra L. Bowles (Robert) of Avon Park, FL. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions to be made to Vitas Hospice or Wounded Warriors.
