She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Edwards and Clyde Edwards (Strickland); and her siblings, Rudolph Edwards, Margie Turnage, Bill, Reuben and Jerry Edwards.
She is survived by: her significant other Charles "Chuck" Shackelford; her daughters, Lesley Shackelford Bateman (Rick) of Plant City and Luci Shackelford Coker (Keith); her grandchild Ashton Coker of Winter Springs; and her siblings, Roscoe Edwards (Mary) of Whiteville, NC and Mary Elizabeth Smith of Raleigh. She is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.
