He is survived by: his close friend Zee Smith of Wauchula; his sons, Rodney Nickerson, Connie Nickerson of Lakeland, Joel Nickerson, Marlene Nickerson of Wauchula, Chris Nickerson and Melinda Nickerson of Zolfo Springs; his sisters-in-law, Roger Nickerson, Judy Nickerson of Zolfo Springs, Howard Nickerson and Debbie Nickerson of Live Oak; his sister Alberta Clark of Wauchula; and his great grandchildren, Hixon Thurlow, Grayson Campbell, Emma Smith, Piper Nickerson, Emory Campbell, Stella Thurlow and McKinley Nickerson.
