She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wesley and Asena Evers Redding; her husband Joseph Raymond Colavito, Sr.; and her siblings, Bob (Fanny), Johnny (Ann), Cecil Redding (Ruth), Mary DeWees (Delbert), Donia Samuels Hughes (Talmadge) and Eloise Ashe.
She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Gray (Donald) of Wauchula, Kitty Maddox (Todd) of Zolfo Springs and Joseph Raymond Colavito, Jr. of Florida City; her grandchildren, Cherie Johnson (Christopher), Bonnie Newton (Emory), Dustin Maddox (Lydia), Wyatt Maddox, Joseph Raymond Colavito III and Dwayne Colavito; and her great grandchildren, Caryssa, Cayden Johnson, Amber and Morgan Newton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home (205 N 9th Ave, Wauchula, FL 33873). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wauchula City Cemetery (1140 Hwy 17, Wauchula, FL 33873).
