It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Elmer Hitchcock of Wauchula, Florida, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Hitchcock Craig and Elmer Riley Hitchcock; his daughter Kathy Johnson; and his brothers, Frank Hitchcock, Daniel Hitchcock and Billy Akins.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hitchcock; his children, Kenneth "Earl" Hitchcock (Anitra) and Shelia Johnson (Jack); his grandchildren, David Kaperak (Brandi), Waylon Johnson (Emily), Christy Strain (Josh), Adam Johnson (Chelsea), Daniel Hitchcock (Jessica), William Hitchcock (Cherisa) and Lynn Hitchcock; and his siblings, Wanda Tennes, Dianne Sisson, Patsy Johnson, Linda Monk (Tony), Dwight Akins (Brenda), Elnita Hitchcock, Doyne Hitchcock (Paulette) and Eddie Akins. He is also survived by his 14 great-grandchildren.
