With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Emerson Terrell (Wauchula, Florida), born in Lake Alfred, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Carlton and John Dewey Terrell; and his grandson Daniel Baxter (Alaina). He is survived by: his wife Tito Terrell; his children, John Dane Terrell (Charlotte Terrell), Tracy Baxter (John Baxter) and Claire Cornell (W. W. Cornell); his grandchildren, Wintz Terrell (Ali), Dana DuBose (Collin), Hannah Reeves (Parker), Warren Cornell, Will Cornell and Caroline Cornell; and his great grandchildren, River Terrell, Wyatt Baxter and James Reeves.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Wauchula or the Hardee Athletic Foundation, as these were two of John's passions: faith and sports.
