He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Volner Edwards and Clara Lee McCormick Edwards; his wife Gladys Elizabeth Edwards; and his siblings, Evelyn Brocken (Charlie) and Etheridge O'Neill Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Reverend Terry D. Hudson (Patti), Dwight Edwards (Ginger), Gary Edwards (Leslie), Shelia Ellis (William) and Kathy June Edwards Rogers (Robert); his grandchildren, Christa Androski (Paul), Terry Lynne Caauwe (Jason), Nathaniel Hudson, Tammy Jones, Jenna Ruddock (Chris), Latasha Mcclendon (Jason), Jeremy Rogers (Shallye) and Anna Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Robert Caauwe, Kaylin Androski, Jaymon Caauwe, Courtney Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Abrielle Daelyn Perry and Riley Rae Mcclendon. He is also survived by his children, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
