He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Baucom; his children, Mark Baucom (Jennifer) of Wauchula, Roxanne Garcia (Raymond) of Wauchula, Novella Childress (Paul), Renee Faulkner of Wauchula Florida and Pleasant Burton; and his brothers, David Baucom of DeCater and Jimmy Baucom of Avon Park, Florida..
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lake Dale Baptist Church (3102 Heard Bridge Rd, Wauchula, FL 33873). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (2334 US-98, Fort Meade, FL 33841).
