He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dwayne Hicks, Dwight Hicks and Robert Anthony Hicks, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Hicks of Wauchula and J. W. Hicks of Sebring; his stepson Cody Johnson of Chipley, FL; his sisters, Peggie Bryant of Bartow and Susan Hicks of Lakeland; and his grandchild Kira Hicks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
