It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Collie Helms Jr. of Wauchula, Florida, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Collie Helms and Dorothy Helms; and his wife Peggy N. Helms. He is survived by: his children, David G. Helms (Sabina) of Zolfo Springs, FL and Linda N. Varnadore (Danny) of Homestead, FL.; his grandchildren, Kasey Bockoski (Steve) of Tampa and Chase Varnadore of Homestead; and his great grandchildren, Maxwell and Miles Bockoski of Tampa.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National MS Society to help find the cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
