He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lanier and Lillie Mae Lanier; his siblings, Stanford Lanier, Fred Rowell, Alfred Lanier and Martha Jane Forbes; and his son Paul Eddie Davis, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Marie Lanier; and his children, Wanda Neale (Ron) of Sebring, FL., Patricia Diane Lanier of Bartow, FL., Susan Smith of Lakeland, FL. and Tommy Davis (Eva) of Arcadia, FL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
