He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Evers and Mildred Evers; and his brothers, Cecil, Jr. and Ralph Evers. He is survived by: his wife Fay Evers of Wauchula; his sons, Clayton Evers Jr. (Sharon) of Dover and Ken Evers (Sarah) of Wauchula; his sisters, Arleen Platt of Zolfo Springs and Susie Norris of Zolfo Springs; his grandchildren, Danny Evers of Savannah, Carly Pike (Matt) of Valrico, Jordan Evers of Lakeland, Gavin Evers of Leesbug, Gracie and Mazie Pelham; his great grandchild Olivet Pike of Valrico; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Evers of Sarasota, Jane Evers of Sarasota, Kay Williams (Earl) of Wauchula and Dorathy Prine of Clearwater.
