With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christy L. Tipton McCafferty of Wauchula, Florida, who passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Billy B. Tipton; her stepfather Frank Bowen; her grandmothers, Claudia Criswell and Inez Tipton; her uncles, Tim Criswell, Jerry Criswell and Kenny Tipton; and her aunt Marie Joiner.
She is survived by: her mother Audrey Bowen; her son-in-law James Fox Jr.; her husband Aj McCafferty; her daughters, Ashley Fox (James), Heather Crawford and Cassie McClenithan (William); her grandchildren, Kevin Turner, Samantha Ownby, Riley Ownby, Garrett Kersey of Amber Kersey, J. J and Dewhite McCafferty; her siblings, Carl Tipton, Billy Tipton, Justin Tipton, Doug Morgan and Angie Horton; and her aunts and uncles, Brenda Johnston, Barbra, Janice Bass, Junior Criswell and Tommy Criswell.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations towards the funeral expenses.
