He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Hernandez and Calletana Hernandez; his brothers, Augustine, James and Daniel Hernandez; and his nephew Danny Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Connie Hernandez; his sons, Jason Hernandez of Avon Park and Christopher Hernandez of Wauchula; and his siblings, Abel Hernandez, Josie Garza, Lily Herrera and Virginia Hernandez.
