She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Spencer and Avanell Spencer; and her sister Shirley Spencer McPherson. She is survived by: her husband Walter Neil Sellers; her son Nicholas Sellers; her siblings, Donna Spencer Newman, Barbara Spencer Peiper and David Spencer; and her grandsons, Benjamin and Jonah Sellers. She is also survived by several Nieces and nephews.

She got an award from American Cancer Society for helping ladies with wigs, scarfs, and makeup after chemo.
