He is survived by: his wife Sarah Martinez; his children, Jose Luis Martinez (Vigermina Perez) of Lares, Jessie Martinez of Wauchula, Florida, Raheem Clark of Wauchula, Florida, Isaac Martinez of Wauchula, Florida, Jacob Martinez of Wauchula, Florida, Terrence Butler of Wauchula, Florida, Antonio Villafuerte of Dalton, Georgia, Danny Lumley (Margaret) of Bowling Green, Florida, Charles Lumley of Wauchula, Florida, Mark Lumley of Wauchula, Florida, Dale Newton of Thomasville, Amalia Martinez (Manuel Sandoval) of Avon Park, Florida, Josephine Martinez (Abdil Novo) of Brandon, Florida, Elvira Martinez of Wauchula, Florida, Julia Villafuerte of Sebring, Florida, Teddie Newton of Wauchula, Florida and Toni Dunston of Dunston; and his siblings, Miguel Gonzalez, Emma Vargas, Betsaida Vargas, Ferdinan Vargas and Annie Vargas.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (4350 W Main St, Wauchula, FL 33873). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
