She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith and Loretta Smith; her sisters, Mary and Tena; and her husband Homer Clinton Smith.

She is survived by: her friends, Latoya Hodges and Joyce Williams; her children, Grace Watson (Mark), David Smith (Cheryl) and Groover Smith (Graciela); her granddaughters, Summer Monroe (Ben), Holli Carvajal (Luis), Brittany Schlitt (Michael), Katelyn Perkins (Michael) and Miranda Hunter (Jeffrey); and her great grandchildren, Autumn, Brantley (Monroe), Lainey, Trace, Callie (Schlitt) and Grayson (Perkins).

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (1301 Sebastian Blvd, Sebastian, FL 32958).
