He is survived by: his wife Sheila Harvie; his children, Kim Hoffend and Jeff Harvie; his daughter-in-law Janette Hovey; and his grandchildren, T. J. Hoffend, Shannon McCollum, Melissa Roy and Jaycie Hovey. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
