He was predeceased by: his former wife Rochelle Kaye; and his siblings, Murray, Sam, Charlie and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, Sheila Pearlman (Bill), David Kaye and Larry Kaye (Laura); his grandchildren, Amy Bird (Adam), Jonathan Pearlman, Alex Kaye, Adam Kaye and Andy Kaye; and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Isabelle Bird.
