She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Poryszewska and Aniela Poryszewska; her husband Joseph W. Cereska; her daughter Janina A. Cereska-Sygitowicz; and the parents of child, Leon and Aniela Poryszewska.

She is survived by: her daughter Joslyn L. Barroso; her granddaughter Kylin R. Barroso of Viera, Florida.; and her sisters, Ludwika Woznack, Danuta Chowaniec (Marian) and Elzbieta Chrzanowka (Les). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
