With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick J. Schmelzer of Viera, Florida, who passed away on April 29, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary; his parents, Arthur Schmelzer and Louise Miller; and his brothers, Arthur Schmelzer (Junior), George Miller and David Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Angela (Angie); his children, Paula Lively (Bill) of Williamsburg, VA, Clay Schmelzer (Cid) of Shallotte, NC, Peggy McCune (Don) of Lavelle, WI, Clyde Schmelzer (Monique) of Algonquin, IL and Kim Schmelzer of St. Charles, IL.; and his grandchildren, Don McCune, Christy Myles, Nick Schmelzer, Erin Wiley, Katy Schmelzer, Kailey Gilbert, Reghan, Jordan, Delaney and Peyton Schmelzer. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
