He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hanlon and Mary Hanlon; his wife Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Hanlon; and his brothers, Peter Hanlon and William Hanlon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia (Dean Souke) of Mashpee, MA, John (Alice Hanlon) of Medway, MA and Mary Jo Jones (late Richard Jones) of Cheshire, CT.; his stepchildren, Bob Finneran of Boston, MA, Mimi Finneran of Vero Beach, FL and Gail Finneran of Jacksonville, FL.; his great grandchildren, Elora and Ophelia Simpson of Vero Beach, FL.; and his granddaughters, Mimi (Collins Lee) of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Finneran and Katie Finneran of Ohio.
