She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sanderson and Alice Sanderson; her husband Anderson Hood; her daughter Beverly; and her granddaughter Melissa.

She is survived by: her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Delinda; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Crystal and Scot. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
