She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Glenn and Emma Glenn; her children, Barabara Holmes-Hardnett, Emma Marie Holmes and Lester Holmes Jr.; her husbands, Alvin Gross and Lester Holmes Sr.; and her siblings, Daniel Glenn Sr., Eddie C Glenn, Emmanuel Glenn, Ernestine Alford, Mary Bell Thomas, Edna West and Ilene Murell.
She is survived by: her son Marsellar Holmes (Gail) of Fayetteville, NC.; and her grandchildren, Buffy, Senella, Candice Danzey, Blaze Battle, Aquarius Holmes, Vanessa, Cynthia Williams, Jamar, Armine Holmes, Danessa, Dermaine Holmes and Neisha. She is also survived by many special friends, God children and special neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hortense & Mills Memorial Funeral Home (4301 US-1, Vero Beach, FL 32967). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Community Baptist Church (4229 29th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32967).
