She was predeceased by: her parent Clarke W. Walton; her husband Rance Paul Plyler Jr.; her sons, Roger Dennis Plyler and Michael Gene Plyler; and her grandsons, Steven Michael Plyler and Allen Wayne Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Emma Lou Guyette (Mike) of Waxhaw, NC and James Paul Plyler (Kathleen) of Wake Forest, NC; her family, Roger and Michael; and her cousin Tilly. She is also survived by nieces, five nephews, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
