He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas G. Murdough and Grace Clarke Murdough; and his brother Charles P. Murdough. He is survived by: his wife Gail Malavase Murdough; his brother Thomas G. Murdough, Jr. (Joy); and his children, Sam Murdough, Jr. (Bev), Debbie Lyford (Jeff), Shane Sirles (Michele) and Clarke Murdough (Michelle). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
