Ruth A. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth A. Smith of Vero Beach, Florida, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Houston Hale and Mary Ann Hale (Wildes); her husband Charles R. Smith; her son Floyd R. Smith; and her brothers, Herman, Woodrow, Conley, James and George.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Pemberton of Vero Beach and Suzan; her son-in-law Mark Blaker of Vero Beach; her sister Maude Baker of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Michelle Campbell (Terrance), Sheri Smith (Dion), Brent Whaley, Tina Parton (David), Alex Smith (Kristin) and Nic Smith; and her niece Barbara Cain.
