He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Deel and Alonzo "Lonzie" Boyd. He is survived by: his siblings, Junior, Otis and Alice Faye; his wife Ann Boyd of Vero Beach; his brother Carvel Boyd of Delaware; his children, Jim Boyd of Williamsburg, NC and Cheryl Nasse (Adam) of Charleston, SC.; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Russell, Sam and Addison; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Carson, Paisley, Serenity and Ava.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Jim's name be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1285 43rd Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or The American Heart Association, P.O Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
