He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Susan MacPhail and Samuel Murphy; his wife Dorothy Elizabeth Miekley; his daughters, Vickie Silber, Bonnie Murphy, Kathleen Murphy Robey and Susan Murphy; and his grandchildren, Heather Ware, Tristan Murphy, Colin Murphy, Alex Murphy, Elizabeth Poggie, Robert Poggie, Joseph Poggie, Murphy Robey and Jack Robey.
