He was predeceased by: his father Elio Scarpetti; his wife Nancy Scarpetti; his mother Mary Collings; and his mother-in-law Eleanor Huggler. He is survived by: his close friend Nancy; his daughters, Jennifer Scarpetti and Kimberly Nelson; his son-in-law Roman Nelson Sr.; his brother John Scarpetti; his siblings-in-law, Carol Hecht, Deborah Rodvelt, Kathy Huggler and Richard Rodvelt; his grandchildren, Haileigh Diaz, Emma Scarpetti, Alex Scarpetti, Roman Nelson Jr. and Mark Nelson; his great grandchildren, Everleigh Diaz and Elly Scarpetti; his nephews, Brian Hecht and Jonathan Hecht; and his niece Tiffany Hecht.
