He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hynes and Mary Hynes (Daniels); his wife Sandra Stella; and his brother Anthony. He is survived by: his children, Mary Martyn (John) of Dublin, Ireland and Michael of Davison, MI; his granddaughters, Ailis and Doireann Martyn; his siblings, Mary Hynes (Frank Naughton), Carmel Cusack (Sean), Gerard Hynes (Anne), Frances Rehal (Ash), Angela Murphy (Peter) of Ireland and England; and his close friend Susan Frost. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; cousins, in-laws.
