It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Thomas Polk Jr. of Vero Beach, Florida, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Kim Polk (Martin D'Angelo) of Melrose, MA and Kevin Polk (Leslie) of Boston, MA; and his sisters, Evalyn Klein and Judy Barker. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his name to Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, Michigan (http://www.ltu.edu).
