He is survived by: his mother Ann Root Muth; his wife Maria Muth; his children, John Christopher Muth II, Mia Christine Muth and Addison Maria Muth; his siblings, Lisa Matranga (John), Jennifer Goebbel (John), Kathryn Banks and Andrew Muth; his mother-in-law Tina Franke; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Dickey (Greg) and John Franke III (Karen); and his nephew Nicholas Starling.
