With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Bruce Payne of Vero Beach, Florida, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Payne and Edna Jessop Payne; his children, Charles Payne of New York and Laura Lowe of Fairfield; and his brother Christopher Payne of Westport, Connecticut..
He is survived by: his children, Andrew S. Payne (Ann) of Bedford and Emily J. Hamilton (Matt) of Sebastian, Florida.; his brother Geoffrey Payne of Westport; and his grandchildren, Stuart, Oliver Payne of Bedford, Jack, Annabel and Charlie Hamilton of Sebastian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Moorings Educational Fund which provides educational scholarships for Moorings employees and their families.
