She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Burnett; her sons, Glen and Scot; and her brother John Smith. She is survived by: her husband John Knauss of Vero Beach, FL; her stepdaughter Lisa Burnett Hillman (Josh Hillman); her siblings, Pete Smith of Stony Point, NY and Debbie Sutera (Smith); her grandchildren, Paige, Trevor, Madeleine, Blake, Isabella and Eva; her nieces and nephews, Peter, Terri, Gary, Trevor and Casey; and also Palm.
